Recently, MRSA (or Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) has been in the news. This antibiotic resistant bacteria most commonly occurs in the healthcare setting, however infections in schools and athletic facilities have become more prevalent.
Protect yourself, others, and the children around you!
Use the following information to help your end user develop a MRSA Prevention Plan, including the use of CELLO Disinfectant Products, to protect their facility.

What is MRSA?
MRSA (or Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) is a Staph bacteria infection that is resistant to certain antibiotics. Community-associated MRSA (CA-MRSA) infections most commonly manifest as skin infections, such as pimples and boils. They appear red, swollen, are painful, have pus or other drainage, and occur in otherwise healthy people.

How to Prevent?
Preventing the spread of MRSA is relatively easy. Practice good hygiene, cover cuts, avoid skin contact, and keep your facility clean!

• Practice good hygiene - wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and shower immediately after exercise.
• Cover cuts - cuts or skin abrasions should be covered with a clean dry bandage.
• Avoid skin contact - do not share items that come in contact with bare skin, and use a barrier (e.g., clothing, towel) between your skin and shared exercise equipment.
• Keep your facility clean - establish procedures for surfaces that commonly come in contact with people's skin. The use of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered disinfectants is effective in killing MRSA bacteria on hard surfaces.

Cello University

CELLO Professional Products is pleased to announce Cello University at our plant in Havre de Grace, MD.

The three (3) day training school will focus on the high volume selling chemical product categories of Floor Care, Cleaners/Degreasers, Disinfectants, Restroom Sanitation, CW2 Chemical Management System and Cello Green Seal Products.

Cello University also covers selling skills such as how to get an appointment, making the first sales call, building instant rapport, presentation and demonstration skills, how to close the sale and hands on floor care training.

Rosie Blankenship - Customer Service Representative

Rosie has been taking care of customers for eighteen years as a Customer Service Representative for Cello Professional Products. Some of her responsibilities are: providing information to customers to assist in solving problems, and seeing that their orders are properly submitted, as well as filing claims with carriers and managing the supply levels in the Safety Department.

She has been married for 35 years to Roy Blankenship and has two children and four wonderful grandchildren.

A daughter, Amanda Marie Vreeland has 2 children - Ashley 16 and Crystal 13. A son, Roy William Blankenship has 2 children - Bradley 10 and Gabrielle 10.

Rosie loves family, family get togethers, outdoor camping and keeping her lovely garden.
